SUNDAY BRUNCH-DAY: OUTFIT LOOKBOOK

SUNDAY BRUNCH-DAY: OUTFIT LOOKBOOK

Hey my loves! Hope all is well. Today’s post is a bit of both fashion combined with a little bit of food (which is my favourite thing in the world LOL)! Recently, my friends and I went to brunch at a rooftop restaurant located on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel called “Kost” in Toronto. It was nice because I got to catch up with my besties, all the while munching on my scrumptious avocado toast. I was also able to get in a bit of an outfit photo shoot which let’s face it- that’s always a great way to spend your day (well for a blogger ofc!). In this post I wanted to show you guys how I like to dress for and hopefully give you some ideas on how to style your next girl-gang-brunch type of outfit!

BRUNCH LOCATION:

Kost – 80 Blue Jays Way, Toronto ON

So this lovely space was so minimal and effortless. The interiors made it such an “instagrammable” place!

Et Voilà- BRUNCH IS SERVED!

Whenever I brunch, I usually order eggs benedict wherever I go. The food was really good and I especially loved the way they made their eggs! I don’t know where I got this obsession with over-easy style eggs from, BUT it’s here and it’s not leaving any time soon. What can I say, I’m a creature of habit and AGAIN- I love me some EGGS! Okay… enough about eggs though before I get too carried away and this turns into a legit food blog post. Overall, brunch was a great time and I’m glad that I got to spend it with my girlfriends!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: CASUAL CHIC

For my outfit, I chose to go casual yet not TOO casual because I knew I wanted to be able to take some cute outfit pictures. Don’t get me wrong you can still go very casual and take great pics but that wasn’t the look I was going for on that specific day. It was also raining so I decided to throw on a trench coat that I bought from Winners– only cost me C$14.99 plus tax! Isn’t that a steal?

Elevator views… I mean, this wasn’t that interesting BUT I thought I’d show you how cute it was! By the way, I wasn’t able to take any good photos inside the Bisha Hotel, but make sure you check out their lobby- it’s breathtakingly beautiful!

While on our way to a nearby cafe down the street, I was able to snap some more pics for y’all!

I combined neutral tones to create a more “chic” look and I liked the way these colours meshed! They truly complimented each other. Especially against that beautiful pair of enormous yellow doors. Such a great spot to take an outfit picture right?

Anyways, I paired my new Free People camel-coloured cargo pants (that I paid less than C$30.00 for with a coupon at the Hudson’s Bay!) with a white bodysuit that I got from Forever21 Canada. My platform sandals were by Vagabond Shoemakers and I was able to get them for C$50.00 from Capezio Shoes during their sale a few months ago. Again, I’m a girl who loves deals and I just couldn’t let it get away. It was also the last pair in my size- that’s how you know it was meant to be.

Hope you enjoyed this little fashion post! I really want to do more of these for you guys, as I truly love putting specific things together when it comes to creating the perfect outfit.
