For a natural look that includes having your SPF in an all-in-one type of product, look no further-
Smashbox to the rescue!
Overview:
I needed a really natural hybrid-type product with SPF for use in the warmer weather, where my skin would be able to breathe, yet have a nice, even tone to it. That is when I stumbled upon the Smashbox BB water at Sephora. I wasn’t really looking for anything but when i came across this, I knew this would be able to target my needs for a BB product. Keep in mind, this product isn’t supposed to give you more than maybe medium coverage if you build it up (even though I felt as if it only gave me a light coverage at most) and that it’s one of those products that will only even out your skin tone, take a bit of redness away while also protecting your skin from harmful UV rays with an SPF of 30. It’s oil-free so it will definitely not clog your pores- which I love. It lets my skin breathe while also giving it a naturally beautiful canvas. For an everyday put-together type of look, this product is definitely your new best friend.
How I Apply:
This BB water is just as it says, it’s liquid-y. It has a watery texture to it and helps to cover just enough on the fact with only a few drops. I liked using my real techniques stippling brush in order to apply this to my face because it gave me a faster way of application while also covering whatever needed be.

My Thoughts?
Overall, I really like this for my natural days when I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup but I just want something that’ll help cover a bit. For $50.00 CAN this product contains 1 oz and will definitely last you a long time, considering you’re only using about 3-5 drops, depending on how much coverage you want. There are 8 total shades in the range, and I feel that it leans on the more yellow side, so keep that in mind when picking out a shade. I suggest going to Sephora and asking for a sample in order to match it to your skin tone. I’ve already used mine up so this should definitely explain how I feel about the product! Going to be picking another one up for this summer as I am travelling. With an SPF of 50, this baby is definitely coming with me on my travels!
Hope you enjoyed my review!
